Jabriel is what can be described as a \u201cluxury bull\u201d \u2013 his genes so perfect that he lives protected in the farm of a lab in the south-eastern state of Minas Gerais where his sperm can be used to father as many as 600,000 heads of cattle. A bull like Jabriel is worth up to $1m&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>In laboratories such as Alta Genetics in the state of Uberaba, the genes of the most elite cows and bulls are stored and fertilised before the embryos are transported to the company\u2019s clients \u2013 breeders and wealthy farmers \u2013 to artificially inseminate surrogate cows across the country.
