Photos and government records discovered by investigators from White Coat Waste Project show that Fauci\u2019s NIH division shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia (where the NIH has no oversight and there are no laws protecting animals used in experiments) to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hundreds of infected sand flies&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this study, the experimenters starved the flies so they\u2019re hungry and \u201cthe sand flies were then allowed to feed on the sedated dogs\u201d&#8230; also the beagles were locked alone in cages in the desert overnight for nine consecutive nights to use them as bait to attract infectious sand flies. <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.whitecoatwaste.org\/2021\/08\/31\/photos-fauci-funded-beagle-torture-overseas-too\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>SOURCE&#8230;<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the research article:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The sand fly <em>Phlebotomus perniciosus<\/em>\u00a0is the main vector of\u00a0<em>Leishmania infantum<\/em>, etiological agent of zoonotic visceral leishmaniasis in the Western Mediterranean basin. Dogs are the main reservoir host of this disease. The main objective of this study was to determine, under both laboratory and field conditions, if dogs infected with\u00a0<em>L<\/em>.\u00a0<em>infantum<\/em>, were more attractive to female\u00a0<em>P<\/em>.\u00a0<em>perniciosus<\/em> than uninfected dogs&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We carried out a series of host choice experiments and found that infected dogs were significantly more attractive to\u00a0<em>P<\/em>.\u00a0<em>perniciosus<\/em>\u00a0than uninfected dogs in the laboratory as well as in the field. Significantly more\u00a0<em>P<\/em>.\u00a0<em>perniciosus<\/em>\u00a0fed on infected dogs than on uninfected dogs. However, the fecundity of\u00a0<em>P<\/em>.\u00a0<em>perniciosus<\/em>\u00a0fed on infected dogs was adversely impacted compared to uninfected dogs by lowering the number of laid eggs.\u00a0<em>Phlebotomus perfiliewi<\/em>, the second most abundant sand fly species in the field site and a competent vector of\u00a0<em>L<\/em>.\u00a0<em>infantum<\/em>\u00a0had similar trends of attractivity as\u00a0<em>P<\/em>.\u00a0<em>perniciosus<\/em> toward infected dogs under field conditions&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The results strongly suggest that\u00a0<em>L<\/em>.\u00a0<em>infantum<\/em>\u00a0causes physiological changes in the reservoir host which lead to the host becoming more attractive to both male and female\u00a0<em>P<\/em>.\u00a0<em>perniciosus<\/em>.
