VARC: The inaugural Vegan and Animal Rights Conference (VARC) was held on April 13-14, 2024 in Manchester, UK. The aim of the conference is to create a platform for sharing knowledge and ideas, to strengthen the UK animal rights movement, and accelerate the timeline to animal liberation. The conference brings together a wide representation of the vegan and animal rights movement, those who are working on different ways to reduce and ultimately end the exploitation of animals and people interested in getting more involved.
