SF GATE: ‘The weeklong Animal Liberation Conference starts on Wednesday and is expected to bring more than 1,000 activists to the Bay Area for events in San Francisco and Berkeley, according to organizers. On Friday, the conference plans to stage a “Giant Cube of Truth” at Civic Center Plaza on McAllister Street in San Francisco, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Masked activists will form a cube to display video footage from farms and slaughterhouses, organizers said… Groups represented at the conference include Direct Action Everywhere (DxE), Greenpeace, Extinction Rebellion, the Save Movement, PETA, and Anonymous for the Voiceless… The march on Saturday outside the Democratic convention will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. at Civic Center and United Nations Plaza’.
