HANA CARTER: An emaciated lion had to have his tail amputated because he had chewed on it whilst he was caged and forced to perform in an evil French circus. When hew was rescued by animal rights activists he was extremely malnourished, had injuries all over his body and his cruel circus owners had removed his claws and most of his teeth.
Animal rights group One Voice, behind the rescue mission and who are his legal guardians, said Jon the lion is currently being cared for by the Tonga Terre d’Accueil animal refuge in Saint-Martin-la-Plaine, a commune in the Loire department in central France… The incident took place in the commune of Vironvay in the Eure department in the northern French region of Normandy…
