DARE TO CARE: Challenging the egocentric worldview and advocating for animal rights

In many cultures and societies, speaking out against animal cruelty and exploitation requires immense courage. Advocating for animal rights can be challenging and even met with hostility. It may seem like an insult or a forbidden topic to challenge the widely held belief that animals are inferior and exist solely to serve humans. This resistance can be deeply rooted in cultural, religious, and economic factors that perpetuate the notion of human supremacy over animals. But by challenging human-centeredness and the egocentric worldview, we can inspire others to make compassionate choices in creating a world where all sentient beings are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. It is through courage that we pave the way for a more compassionate and just society.

The most repulsive and unimaginable tragedies that happen every day to our fellow earthlings are overwhelming and supported by most people in the world, including religious and government leaders. The worst possible kinds of completely unnecessary forms of cruelty and suffering forced upon innocent, helpless animal species represent the worst crimes in history.
