DOMINION: Chilling documentary inspiring vegan movement is so horrific most can’t watch it

'Got six minutes into Dominion and that's all I could cope with', one person wrote on social media after watching the start of the film. 'Tears streaming down my face, want to vomit'.

ROSE HILL: ‘An Australian documentary which inspired the militant vegan movement has been dubbed “too scary to watch” by many viewers. Australian feature-length documentary Dominion, which was first released in 2018, uses hidden cameras and drone footage to secretly film farms.

Earlier this year, vegan protesters who tried to shut down Melbourne tried to demand that the documentary be made compulsory viewing for kids over 15 years old. However viewing sitting down to watch the documentary have been left seriously disturbed, with some only able to watch it for six minutes before switching off. While others have been left “wanting to vomit” and “crying all the way through”…

One remarked: “I think it should be mandatory viewing. It’s really hard to get through but I’ve sat through it a few times as I was showing others”… Another said: “I cried all the way through it and I’ve never eaten meat in my life, I felt I needed to bare witness. It’s really f***ing intense… One tweeted: “Got six minutes into Dominion and that’s all I could cope with,’ one person wrote on social media after watching the start of the film. “Tears streaming down my face, want to vomit”…

Dominion director Chris Delforce also runs vegan group Aussie Farms, which has led the way in the protests in Australia against the farming industry. He has also helped develop a controversial interactive map which “named and shamed” farmers and even gave out their addresses’.  SOURCE…
