Horror German lab which tested monkeys may have moved to secret new location

Authorities could not confirm whether the animals were moved to a new location but a spokesman said: 'In theory, the animals can be moved without any specific ruling.'

SAM ELLIOTT: ‘Concerns are growing that the German lab which tested on petrified monkeys may have moved to a secret new location. The Green Party are worried controversial Hamburg centre Laboratory of Phramacology and Toxicology (LPT) could have been relocated – and are continuing to test the animals elsewhere in an attempt to dodge investigators.

Last week’s horrifying footage of monkeys screaming in pain inside a laboratory prompted calls for an urgent change to EU laws. The distressing video was released by animal rights activists and it sparked worldwide outrage. It also shows cats and dogs that appear to be bleeding and even dying after undergoing cruel tests.

Now the Green Party says they have been tipped off that testing has not been halted… Local Green Party politician Christiane Blomeke said: “Animal activists have reported to us that dogs and monkeys have been transported elsewhere”… Authorities are not aware of the animals being moved to a new location but a spokesman for the local authorities investigating said: “In theory, the animals can be moved without any specific ruling”…

Friedrich Mülln from Soko Tierschutz said: The animals were even still waggling their tails when they were being taken to be killed… The worst treatment was kept for the monkeys… They are kept in cramped conditions in small cages. Many of the animals have developed compulsive tendencies and are seen going round in circles”…

Meanwhile, thousands of protesters took to the streets to protest against the animal lab. Mulln added: “I have had goosebumps all day. Around 7,500 people took part in the demonstration and another 700 took part in a picket action in front of the lab. “I didn’t expect that many people”.’  SOURCE…
