Australian cattle farm invaded by 150 vegans to fight for Animal Liberation

Leah Doellinger: The message we are sharing is simple, there is no humane way to exploit and kill someone. The animals do not need better welfare standards or conditions, they need to be liberated, they need people to live vegan.

ELISA MENENDEZ: ‘Protesting vegans stormed an Australian cattle farm to liberate animals after finding dead cows on the land. More than 150 activists were filmed marching onto the farm in the town of Millmerran, Queensland, at around midday on Saturday. Dressed in black and white t-shirts reading ‘Meat the Victims’, the protesters interrogated farmer David McNamee, who said the cows found in a pen at the Lemontree Feedlot had been ‘shot humanely’…

Activists are then seen dispersing into the feed yard. The video cuts to drone footage flying above the vast land, before zooming in on three dead cows scattered across the soil of a small animal pen. One black cow appears to have had its eyes removed, with blood dripping from the socket. The farmer said on camera: ‘They were shot humanely’ before an activist responds: ‘How do you humanely shoot a cow?’. The video shows more drone footage of the vast land filled with live cattle…

Leah Doellinger, who shared the video, wrote online: ‘The message we are sharing is simple; animals are here with us, not for us. ‘Animals lives are their right and what is happening to them is unjust, needless violence. There is no humane way to exploit and kill someone. ‘The animals do not need better welfare standards or conditions, they need to be liberated, they need people to live vegan’… Police were called to the farm before the protesters left the land. A police spokeswoman confirmed that no arrests were made’. SOURCE…
